Over the course of his lifetime His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has given many teachings on health and wellbeing. Now a major project, Healthy Body, Healthy Mind, is translating 113 of these historically and culturally important teachings from Tibetan into English, giving English speakers access to this wisdom for the first time.
The foremost school of Tibetan Medicine – the Men-Tse-Khang in Dharamsala, India – has initiated the project and is working with Tibetan researchers and translators of the highest callibre to carry out this exciting work.
The Karma Healing Centre is honoured to be a part of this project. English language editing is based at Karma Healing and led by Julie Marron, former editor in the Research and Translations Department of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives in Dharamsala, India.
The first five translations were launched in 2019 to mark the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Men-Tse-Khang in Lhasa, Tibet.
